The Open-SD 2026 Winter School (Open-Source Scientific Computing in Structural Dynamics Conference) aims to create a fertile environment for students, researchers, users, and industry professionals to share ideas, projects, and recent advances in open-source software applied to structural dynamics, rotating machine dynamics, and mechanical vibrations. It is a follow up to the OpenSD 2025 Conference and Summer School held in Ljubljana (Slovenia).
The Winter School will take place on July 9–10, 2026 and will feature seminars and roundtables with researchers and developers of free software, as well as applied activities, providing practical tools for all participants. This is the first Open-Source Software School in South America.
